How to pick the right size: unisex, women’s and youth fits explained

Most of our designs come in three fits, and each one is cut differently. Picking the fit first, then the size, is the easiest way to get it right.

Unisex

A classic straight cut with a relaxed body. It is the most popular choice and the safest one for gifts. Most men wear their usual size. Many women size down one from their usual women’s size for a closer fit, or keep their size for a relaxed look.

Women’s

A slimmer cut that is narrower at the waist with shorter sleeves. If you like a fitted look, choose your usual size. If you are between sizes or prefer room, size up.

Youth and kids

Sized for children and teens. Kids grow quickly, so if they are between sizes, the larger one will last longer.

Use the size guide on every product

Each product page has a Size Guide link next to the size options with measurements for that exact fit. The best way to use it: lay a shirt you already like flat, measure across the chest from armpit to armpit, and compare.

Hoodies, sweatshirts and tanks

Many designs also come as hoodies, sweatshirts, long sleeves and tanks. These are cut differently from tees, so check the size guide after you pick the style.
